Binneas Dromid meitheal recital - 2nd December 2023
A recital of songs and music of Dromid and the Inny valley by Peter Mullarkey, Rosaleen Mullarkey & Selena O’Connell. The meitheal iniative of the Binneas Collection is supported by Ealaín na Gaeltachta.
Binneas Concert at Derrynane House
The concert focused on music and song inspired by the life of Daniel O’Connell and the surrounding Derrynane area. The performers were Peter Mullarkey, Rosaleen Mullarkey and Kevin Larkin. The concert was supported by Kerry County Council Arts act grant 2023.

This song was composed by Mac Carthaigh na Leamhna in 1905 whilst he was in America. He reflects on past memories and the happiness of his youth while sad and troubled far from home.
